  27. Let your function keys cut, copy, paste and click like your mouse.
  28. If you find mouse clicking tiresome, this fun tool will allow you to 
  29. use any of your function keys (F1 thru F10) to act as your mouse clicker. 
  30. You can also assign unused function keys on your keyboard to accomplish 
  31. common tasks such as copying, cutting, and pasting with one keystroke! 
  32. There's also a handy drag-and-drop function that lets you 
  33. move items in Windows without having to click a mouse.

  36. 2. TECHNICAL INFORMATION
  37. ========================
  38. 2.1 Setup
  39. ---------
  40. Double-click on DefineF's self-extracting .EXE file to launch
  41. setup wizard. Simply follow the instructions. The setup creates
  42. Intes DefineF program group and makes it available in your Start
  43. menu. Setup also adds a new icon to your Startup folder so 
  44. DefineF(TM) starts every time you start your computer.

  46. 2.2 Upgrade
  47. -----------
  48. If you are upgrading to a newer version of DefineF(TM), setup will
  49. detect any previous settings on your computer. You may
  50. choose to keep or delete them and use defaults instead. It is not 
  51. necessary to uninstall previous versions of DefineF.
  52. When upgrading on Windows NT setup might ask you to restart your
  53. computer.

  55. 2.3 Uninstall
  56. -------------
  57. If you wish to uninstall DefineF, choose 'Uninstall Intes DefineF'
  58. from 'Start->Intes DefineF' menu. On certain occasions you may be
  59. warned to restart your computer to ensure proper uninstallation.

  61. 2.4 System requirements
  62. -----------------------
  63. - 486 CPU or higher
  64. - 8 MB of RAM
  65. - Windows 95 / 98 / NT 4.0 or higher
  66. - Mouse or compatible pointing device
  67. - 1 MB of free harddisk space

  70. 3. DISTRIBUTION

  72. Intes DefineF is distributed as SHAREWARE.
  73. You may evaluate it free of charge for 30 days.
  74. After your free trial period expires, you are either to uninstall 
  75. it from your computer or buy the full working version.

  81. 4. FEATURES
  82. ===========
  83. 4.1 DefineF Options:
  84. ---------------------
  85. - Select a function from the list. Then click on the 'Define Key'
  86. button. A small dialog appears asking you whether you want to assign
  87. another key (or combination of keys) to it, or a mouse button
  88. function.
  89. - To reset a function key definition, select a function key in the
  90. list, then click 'Reset Key'.
  91. - If you wish to delete all current definitions, click 'Reset All'
  92. button.

  94. Your settings are kept separate from other users of your computer. 
  95. Whenever you log on to your Windows 95/98/NT computer, all your 
  96. DefineF(TM) preferences are loaded on start-up.

  98. 4.2 Disabling DefineF and Displaying Options:
  99. ------------------------------------------- 
  100. The function key icon indicates DefineF is active.
  101. - A double-click on the icon displays Options window.
  102. - A right-click on the icon shows a small menu in which you can:
  103.   1. Display Options dialog.
  104.   2. Disable DefineF. 
  105.   3. Display About... dialog box.
  106. - The function key icon changes while drag-and-drop operation is active, 
  107. indicating that you have started to drag. This way you know the mouse 
  108. button is "locked" until you press the function key again.

  110. 4.3 Exiting, Closing, Disabling and Enabling DefineF:
  111. -----------------------------------------------------
  112. - To exit DefineF, use 'File->Exit' menu option. It will prompt you
  113. to save any unsaved changes to your settings.
  114. - You can close Options window by clicking OK button, a close button
  115. in the window title bar, or by choosing 'File->Close' option.
  116. - You can also disable DefineF by choosing 'File->Disable' option in
  117. Option window's menu. You can enable it again later by choosing
  118. 'File->Enable' option.
