- 1. INTRODUCTION
- ===============
- Let your function keys cut, copy, paste and click like your mouse.
- If you find mouse clicking tiresome, this fun tool will allow you to
- use any of your function keys (F1 thru F10) to act as your mouse clicker.
- You can also assign unused function keys on your keyboard to accomplish
- common tasks such as copying, cutting, and pasting with one keystroke!
- There's also a handy drag-and-drop function that lets you
- move items in Windows without having to click a mouse.

- 2. TECHNICAL INFORMATION
- ========================
- 2.1 Setup
- ---------
- Double-click on DefineF's self-extracting .EXE file to launch
- setup wizard. Simply follow the instructions. The setup creates
- Intes DefineF program group and makes it available in your Start
- menu. Setup also adds a new icon to your Startup folder so
- DefineF(TM) starts every time you start your computer.

- 2.2 Upgrade
- -----------
- If you are upgrading to a newer version of DefineF(TM), setup will
- detect any previous settings on your computer. You may
- choose to keep or delete them and use defaults instead. It is not
- necessary to uninstall previous versions of DefineF.
- When upgrading on Windows NT setup might ask you to restart your
- computer.

- 2.3 Uninstall
- -------------
- If you wish to uninstall DefineF, choose 'Uninstall Intes DefineF'
- from 'Start->Intes DefineF' menu. On certain occasions you may be
- warned to restart your computer to ensure proper uninstallation.

- 2.4 System requirements
- -----------------------
- - 486 CPU or higher
- - 8 MB of RAM
- - Windows 95 / 98 / NT 4.0 or higher
- - Mouse or compatible pointing device
- - 1 MB of free harddisk space

- 3. DISTRIBUTION
- ===============
- Intes DefineF is distributed as SHAREWARE.
- You may evaluate it free of charge for 30 days.
- After your free trial period expires, you are either to uninstall
- it from your computer or buy the full working version.

- 4. FEATURES
- ===========
- 4.1 DefineF Options:
- ---------------------
- - Select a function from the list. Then click on the 'Define Key'
- button. A small dialog appears asking you whether you want to assign
- another key (or combination of keys) to it, or a mouse button
- function.
- - To reset a function key definition, select a function key in the
- list, then click 'Reset Key'.
- - If you wish to delete all current definitions, click 'Reset All'
- button.

- Your settings are kept separate from other users of your computer.
- Whenever you log on to your Windows 95/98/NT computer, all your
- DefineF(TM) preferences are loaded on start-up.

- 4.2 Disabling DefineF and Displaying Options:
- -------------------------------------------
- The function key icon indicates DefineF is active.
- - A double-click on the icon displays Options window.
- - A right-click on the icon shows a small menu in which you can:
- 1. Display Options dialog.
- 2. Disable DefineF.
- 3. Display About... dialog box.
- - The function key icon changes while drag-and-drop operation is active,
- indicating that you have started to drag. This way you know the mouse
- button is "locked" until you press the function key again.

- 4.3 Exiting, Closing, Disabling and Enabling DefineF:
- -----------------------------------------------------
- - To exit DefineF, use 'File->Exit' menu option. It will prompt you
- to save any unsaved changes to your settings.
- - You can close Options window by clicking OK button, a close button
- in the window title bar, or by choosing 'File->Close' option.
- - You can also disable DefineF by choosing 'File->Disable' option in
- Option window's menu. You can enable it again later by choosing
- 'File->Enable' option.
